We created an event dedicated to the IKA young athletes to compare performances by analyzing GPS data in the Kitefoil discipline.
How to participate and upload process:
1) Record the races or traning with your gps device
2) Export the GPX track and save it on the device or on your drive folder (PC or smartphone)
3) Log in and register on www.gpsformula.com
4) Go to the "upload" page
5) Select the "discipline" / "specific event" / Youth Worlds 2024 / Indicate the "Race" / indicate the "Wind" Direction. The wind to be inserted in Gizzeria is normally NW
6) Select the correct gpx file
7) finish the process via the "upload" button. The upload process may take a few minutes and the track's visibility in the chart will be published after a track check. So don't worry if you don't see the track in the chart.
the athlets will be evaluated on the following parameters: - Maximum speed over 200 m - Maximum speed over 400 m - Top 10 Turns (VMG) - Top 10 Jibes (VMG) GpsFormula ranking system Each parameter is associated with a position and the final ranking will be the sum of the individual positions per parameter. Athletes will be able to upload the tracks of the different regattas or traning sessions within the same Race 1 and the system will select the best result
